So awesome!!! Not bad growth either from a 2 gallon pot. I always figured these didn’t do well in Hawaii ? Is there others in Hawaii?

Must be as I bought them from someone who has access to seeds.  Can't remember where they came from.

Slllloooooooowwww . My smallest was a small one gallon still had strap leafs and one mature leaf. I would say now it’s about 15 gallon size and I’ve had it for 6 years . But the first year I planted it , it about died on Me thought it was a goner . Dug it back up After it was in the ground a year and relocated into a pot for a year and nursed it back . Then the following year back into the ground and it likes its new spot . Been there for Probably 3 years . The bigger one was a small 15 gallon when I got It . That one I don’t notice it getting bigger until I look at pictures .

Thanks for the info. They honestly look like twin golden coconut palms.

Just gorgeous!

Agree . I have some I’m growing from seed . They are barely Starting to Leaf out . Meaning showing tiny spikes barely poking through soil . Slowest this far I’ve grown from seed to show anything above the soil

Well my smallest hasn’t split yet I would guess it’s close to 8 years old . The biggest had already split before I got it . I’m sure others can chime in on this .

Good question It's about 7 feet to the tip of the longest frond.  Back in 2005 it was maybe 1 1/2' tall.  That's here, no idea where you live.

In my opinion the northern boys Jubaeopsis tend to look a little more tropical than out here !

Check out this monster! So far my only one germinated out of 10 seeds

Seriously though, much slower grower than other palms I’m growing in my greenhouse. Now that the days are getting shorter and darker, it’s pretty much not growing at all.
