Hello all, I was at Lowe's earlier today and came across these guys just labeled as Dracaena. I saw plants in Charleston this summer that looked very similar. Can anybody provide an ID?

Last pic is Charleston

Draceana fragrans i believe..  Last pictures are of a different plant,  Crinum asiaticum.  I see the " evil season " stuff is out already ( in the background of the first picture ) at your local Lowes too, lol.

As usual @Silas_Sancona is spot on IDing the Draceana fragrans for the box store plants and Crinum asiaticum. I grow both.

They usually sell the more variegated Draceana as houseplants. For those of us who can grow them outdoor they produce large flowers that open at dusk each day and smell heavenly hence the name "fragrans".  They typically flower around the solstices and may or may not flower twice a year. Flowering only occurs once they get to a certain age of woody tissue. If grown from seed it takes years before flowering however if the plant is grown from a woody stem cutting they can flower within a year. I sell cuttings of them here if anyone's interested. https://lab-14.myshopify.com/collections/all?page=7

When I lived in CT I grew the draceana indoor and had some in 6-7 foot range. I just knew them as "Corn plants" and didn't think of them as flowering plants. I've wondered if they could flower by using grow lights to adjust the hours of light and get them to flower like we used to do with Poinsettias.
