Anchomanes difformis

So. I have had this Anchomanes difformis for over 10 years. A friend gave it to me back in the day. Its always been a single, never made any offshoots. The tuber does bet a little bigger every year, and it goes dormant every winter. It bloomed for the first time this year! I have been told its not ripe yet, but when the berries turn red/purple I can harvest and sow them like I do Anthurium berries. I am pretty excited!!!!!! Anyone else here raised a crop from seed?

I planted seed 12 years ago and they germinated readily and grew fast. Took about 5 years (from seed) to flower and they continue regularly each wet season. They do produce some offshoots, though not a lot. You shouldn't have any difficulty with them. You probably know the seed should never be allowed to dry out.

Thanks! Yeah, I grow about 1000 Anthurium seedlings, they stay moist 24/7
