I am trying to raise $400 in case the bidding goes up to my max bid, so please help me out guys.  The auction is for an established, seed grown ghost orchid, which is nostalgic because my dad and I were obsessed with the ghost orchid when I was a kid and teen and I want to get an established medium sized plant as they are much hardier at that stage than as small plants.

While I cannot ship, I will meet you within 50 miles of the greater Orlando area and within 100 miles for anyone buying $75 or more from me.  Here are a few more for sale.

Ravenea rivularis double, common yes, but the pot itself was like $40-$50 and built to last $25

Chamaedorea cataractum $20

IMG_20211002_103916339.thumb.jpg.da7f815f01bcb3d3b621e6cd9290e4b0.jpg

Hyophorbe lagencaulis $10

Veitchia arecina 4' tall $20

Except of course for the two already sold, take $5 of the price of every palm listed above and they are yours.  So, for example, the Veitchia arecina listed last in the thread is now $15.

I hope you get the orchid, that would be incredible to have a cultivated plant.

I have never seen one in cultivation. I know they are out there, but whenever visiting a collection, they are always among those prestigious plants grown in the 'back house' that no one is allowed to see.

Ryan,

Yes they sure are!  I have had some experience growing them in the past so I think I have a game plan that will bring me long term success with the ghost orchid.  I will start a thread about it in the appropriate subforum upon receipt.

I hope you are well Ryan.

At $150, might as well just bring them here ;) I'll get you the greenbacks and a Gumbo Limbo for your trouble.
