What in the heck is this on my Franken Brahea?

Recommended Posts

These eggs or whatever they are appear to be woven into the threads of my Brahea leaf, too well placed to be some trick from the kids or anything. Any ideas?A8B52CAE-DAAB-479D-B1C0-3DCFD3FD26DE.thumb.jpeg.34e9b94686e22476d677d4757afd1c54.jpeg

Now that I finally live in a favorable climate again, these will be going in-ground before long.

Wow! You’ve been a great daddy!

Those Braheas will get big fast like 30+ feet in like 10 years. Keep them away from the wires!

Nice! I sure need some things to get big fast, I just nuked 3 mature Chinese Tallow trees and one Cottonwood in the yard to make way for things that I want.

      Hello all!

Looking on details about growing brahea armata in arizona, Phoenix area.
Can they really take full sun here?
How many leaves do they only put out a few leaves a year like ravenea xerophyla or are they faster?
What are some characteristics to look for in a 10 gallon plant to get the best color.
If they are blue/silver as they get bigger do new leaves not have as much of the wax to keep the color?
Thanks so much for the info!
