After a wet summer, driving through a section of the mountains between Tucson and the US/ Mex. border yesterday morning makes one wonder.. " Did i somehow leave the dry and dusty AZ desert and awaken in California, after a wet late winter/ early Spring? ..Let alone somewhere in Europe, ...or New Zealand?

After punishing drought " magical " is the only way to describe such a quick transformation. Drought, as a whole, may not be quenched ..but for now, the land is revived.

A good omen to what lies ahead.. A vibrant green, Picacho Peak..

Absolute Magic..  Can only imagine what the mountains and hills, in the more tropical section of the Sonoran Desert region, a couple hundred miles south must look like right now..

Amazing to see so much green in an area where you expect a dry desert.

Thanks.
