Central Oregon coast CIDP

So I heard rumours of CIDP north of Gold Beach, Oregon and so far I have seen two of similar size in North Bend/Coos Bay. The city is primarily zone 9a but there are some pockets of 9b along the shore. I would say this is officially trunking. Looks like they mound planted it a bit but has more trunk then you can see in the photo due to the brick pony wall.

I remember driving up 101 last year seeing this and thinking it probably wont be long before we see a CIDP in Florence or even Newport.

Nice green phoenix, did you see any other palms?

I saw one other Phoenix and then just Trachycarpus fortunei and Chamaerops.  The Trachys all looked bad, I'm assuming due to the sandy soil, high winds and salt spray.  Lots of big Cordylines, and not just the green ones.  A ton of Eucalyptus, Monkey Puzzles, crocosmia and Phormium.  Kind of the more typical coastal plants you see.

Further up the way around Florence I did see a Washy with close to 6' of trunk but it was kind of rough looking.

That would be pretty awesome.
