Weird Filibusta Leave issue?

I'm not really understanding why this leaf on my filibusta is getting holes in it and thinning out, Is it because it's getting direct burning sunlight or another problem? it's pushing new growth and the other leaves look normal and this is the only one of my filibustas doing this.

Found the problem and I didn't realize it, I looked on the other side of the leaf and their was a caterpillar just chilling out behind it and I'm disappointed I didn't catch it sooner- which leads me to my next question how do I protect them from caterpillars. I'm gonna put tape around each leg of the table so any climbing pest cant make it up the legs unless caterpillars just know how to fly now LOL. I need to get more diatomaceous earth because I don't have enough to put around the table and should I do anything to the munched on leaf like insecticide or will it be fine just leaving it alone and let the next growth come up.

I think ill spray neem oil on the leaves just to make it less appetizing for now

I think I won against the caterpillars, I only had 3 of them but I've been running my fingers over the leaves and spraying neem oil at night and I haven't seen any so I guess I'm in the clear hopefully :greenthumb:
