It's on it's second infruitessence.  First was mushy after turning red.

These are firm but have that black line and the seeds don't look good.

Is it just two young and needs another fruiting?

Great looking Palm. This Palm has so many similarities to dypsis cabadea and dypsis lanceolata as an adult palm I'm growing all 3 but my 2 Mayotte Island palms are  just starting to form trunk soon. 1st pic D. Cabadea 2nd pic D lanceolata 3rd pic D.sp mayotte sorry for the lighting a bit overcast today Thanks for sharing
