Pritchardia napaliensis

Darold Petty

Recommended Posts

I obtained these seedlings from a Palmtalker, perhaps from Vista, CA.  Sorry,  I do not have any more complete accession info.  They were tiny starts and have grown well in my greenhouse.  They are not acclimated to sun.

Also, I make NO warranty as to correct ID.  This is a sore point for me, I have purchased Pritchardia 'minor' from four sources.  The plants don't even look alike, one to the other.  It seems that there is a lot of mis-labeled Pritchardia in California horticulture.

The palm shown is the smallest of five offered for sale, at $20 plus $15 shipping.  I can put two plants in one box for for $20 shipping.   The pot size is 4x4x5.5 inches,  these palms are ready for a "1-gallon' pot.

Payment is by PayPal,  PM me for my address, and don't forget your mailing address.  I ship by USPS Priority mail on Mondays or Tuesdays.  Thanks!

OK, Josue,  I will hold them for you.

That makes four sold,  and I have one left.  Someone needs to step up and adopt the last one !  :D

Bump,  I apologize, I failed to specify that I will ship only to the 48 contiguous US states.   :(

Hi Darold, Pretty sure you got those from me.  If so they are definitely at least half napaliensis since the mother palm is definitely napaliensis.  I do have other pritchardias flowering, but of all the pritchardias I've grown from seed off my plants I only have seen one case where it looked like maybe hybridization had happened.  So very good chances those will be pure napaliensis.

Matt. thanks very much for the info !    That's good news.   I normally keep very good records, but that acquisition period was a very difficult time for me.
