Aloe dichotoma

I don't have recent photos of my one remaining Aloe dichotoma so I'm posting these older ones.  It looks pretty much the same but the branches are longer and it doesn't have such a bunched head.  Apparently I lost my smaller one becuase some other nearby plants overwhelmed it and it rotted from winter rains.  Don't even know how recently it rotted.  Lost a lot of aloes.

Anyway, this one must be in an ideal spot because it just grows and blooms like clockwork.  Like I said in other posts, I don't go down there any more.

I''m posting another image of the yard, way back when.  I forgot some things I had and some things I lost and somethings that have just simply taken over.

The Aloe dichotoma is in the top left part of this image.  The Aloe pilansii is in the bottom center.  That Agave guiengola sitting in the pot on the stump and the bottom right tells me how old this photo is.  It was planted out YEARS ago and bloomed and died!

Isn't Matty one of your neighbors?  If so, have him wonder down with a camera and take some photos for you so you can enjoy that view of your garden.  It looks gorgeous in your older photos!
