Corymbia ficifolia & Combretum indicum

My young, seed-grown Corymbia is finally coming of flowering age. Last year it gave me two flower umbels, but this year it's getting a lot more flowers. It also just shrugs off these 110-degree days.

Combretum indicum is loving this heat also.  Both growing in Fresno, CA.

Think you're right Josue.. Believe you'd discussed it when you first got it in the ground.. Great growth for such a short period of time regardless.. The Rangoon really took off. :greenthumb:

Yep, I did post it here!

How are your trees coming along? Any newcomers? casualties? I've raised and sold a number of tipuanas, hopefully they start making appearances throughout Fresno. My caesalpinia ferrea looks great, but slow. No die back so far over 2 winters, even as a seedling. I'm currently raising a batch of handroanthus umbellata from seed my own tree produced this spring.
