The fact that they need to be cut down after a few frosts each winter and then EXPLODE at the first sign of warmth will always get me excited for summer!

Former South Florida resident living in the Greater Orlando Area, zone 9b.

Constantly wishing I could still grow zone 10 palms worry-free, but also trying to appease my strange fixation with Washingtonias.

That is some fast growth.  Do you use any fertilizer on those if so what?  I just got some banana trees and they say they need a lot of fertilizer.

I have found that chicken manure works wonders! i just sprinkle handfuls around the base and water it in.
