Hey, Yes Ontario had places that go down to 2b, I hate this area to be honest, winters are long and very cold. Mine was in a north window and he did ok, they can adapt well to very dark conditions. The only pest I had was spiders making webs among the Fronds. Aphids, Spider Mites, other bugs were not an issue I had no issues with mine indoors humidity above 40 % and water every three weeks.
