Hey Everyone how are we doing?, I bought a Windmill Palm last year and it was half this size, If anyone wanted to know how Trachy's do in Zone 3a , The proof is in the pudding :D

Wow, I didn't even realize Ontario went down to Zone 3A!

They are terrific palms. I overwinter one in the ground, the others overwinter in my garage.  

How are they in house? Any issues? Pests?

Hey, Yes Ontario had places that go down to 2b, I hate this area to be honest, winters are long and very cold. Mine was in a north window and he did ok, they can adapt well to very dark conditions. The only pest I had was spiders making webs among the Fronds. Aphids, Spider Mites, other bugs were not an issue :P I had no issues with mine indoors humidity above 40 % and water every three weeks.
