Copernicia yarey Seeds - Limited Number

Recommended Posts

Back in April 2021 I visited one of the palm parks in Ft. Myers and saw a seeding medium sized Copernicia. It had a name tag but looked all wrong to be a baileyana. I posted a topic with photos on PT and the consensus of opinion was that this palm was a Copernicia yarey, which is native to Cuba. I decided I want to try this species as I have been to Cuba and have never seen a specimen here. A number of people here expressed the same hope. Last Friday I went back to the park to collect and obtained perhaps 300 or so seeds, which was the total crop.
