It's been a while... we're about to get into spring soon (I hope) !!  and here are a couple of palms and what they did over the last, almost first full year in the ground.

Sabal Louisiana.... full palmate leaves, growing, uninterrupted through our recent 18F lows!  Beautiful

S. Birmingham  - The first one I put into the ground to replace some of my losses from last year... growing nicely, blue'ish color on the fronds, and finally has its first palmate leaf.

I love how big brazorias leaves are! Those bad boys are set up for a big growing season there!!! How many leaves you think they’ll put out this year?

@teddytn, thanks for sharing, you got some nifty signage there! Where do you get those and have you found them to be durable? The fernies look great too!

Oh my goodness I wish even one or two of those were my plants. All those are pictures I took at plant delights nursery. I went to pick up some plants I ordered and they gave us visitor passes and cut us loose to explore the whole botanic garden there.

Hah, I guess I missed that! That is one of the places on my bucket list to visit! Can't believe they cut you all loose unsupervised!

I posted a good string of pics in yucca love too of different yuccas. Those and sabals are the only 2 of my favorite plants I had enough time to take pics of and we were there for 4 hours. It’s really unbelievable to see in person. I have to go back, so they claim they have the most species of agaves planted in the world, just didn’t have time to dedicate to really checking everything out. I think we got really lucky getting passes, usually closed to the public except for certain days of the year. You have to go!
