Where is This Windmill???

Palm Planet

Hello everyone

It's been a while since I've posted but a couple of weeks ago I saw a photo of a huge windmill palm (Trachycarpus fortunei) in front of an apartment building in D.C., and since then I have been obsessed with trying to find it. The photo was definitely taken in D.C., I can tell by the buildings, and it is likely in or near Capitol Hill because the townhouses on the left-hand side of the building are the kind that are mostly found either in Georgetown or Capitol Hill, and the apartment building itself is definitely not in Georgetown. I have searched on Google Maps but to no avail, there are just too many apartment buildings that look like it. I will continue searching and let you know if I find it. As the photo was taken in December 2007, there is certainly a good chance it may have been taken out by a bad winter since then, but as it was old in the photo and looks well-established, and it is in one of the more favorable micro climates in the city, there is also a good chance that it hung on through those bad winters, like the Trachy at the Air and Space Museum, which was just moved to the Smithsonian Castle, did. Either way I would love to know where it is/was, and if any of you know or have a little extra time on your hands and want to search the greater Capitol Hill area for it, that would be much appreciated. The photo and Flickr link to it is below. Thanks and take care!
