I just want to put the word out to Bay Area Palm enthusiasts that a small group is meeting on Sunday, May 16th to do some general garden clean up work in the Oakland Palmetum.

You can PM me for more detailed info, or just show up at the Palmetum, located in the Lake Merritt gardens anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

All help is greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

We're meeting up again this Sunday, May 30th from 9 a.m. until 1 for some garden clean up.

Come out and support your local Palmetum, see what's blooming, pull a few weeds, and meet some local palm people.

Message me for more info or just show up.

Palmetum clean up will be happening again tomorrow for anyone interested in spending some time under the palms in Oakland.

I will be working from 8 a.m. until noon. All are welcome to join at any point within this time frame, of course you can stay longer if you want.

Chores to be done include watering, weed pulling, and removing dead leaves from trees and from the pathways.

PM me for more info, or just show up...
