Are my king palms dying? HELP!

Hello All! Hoping to save newly planted king palms purchased in Vista CA in 15 gallon pots that have rooted to the ground. They are in full sun, transplanted 3 weeks ago in Santee CA. Spikes are still green but trunks starting to shrivel up. Soil is mostly clay with some pumice mixed in below the root ball. Currently watering via 14 inch deep drip tree stake for 20 mins 2x per week. This is a Steady pressurized stream from quarter inch tubing not just a drip. Everyone is telling me to water as much as possible, that these palms would be happy in a swamp. That being said I’m very concerned about rotting them out with the clay soil. Have not fertilized yet and looking for some help. Any input is greatly appreciated thanks for reading!

They look like they are ok to me. If the trunks start to look like a wrinkled microwave hotdog thats when they are toast. They dont like their roots messed with so you could be seeing a little trans plant shock. I have  a triple in my yard that has never looked great. Welcome to Palmtalk BTW. Im in Santee as well.

They look fine to me too. I have a quad Alexandrea that was planted a couple months ago and it doesn’t look too well either but the spears are moving so I’m gonna just wait it out.

Likes stated above, they look fine. Perhaps some transplant shock.

And don't be afraid to water them.

We have been watering them almost daily, so keeping fingers crossed:D

Change to daily for the first couple of months. But they should be fine
