Hey Gang :D, Has anyone here put earth worms in with their potted Palms, even the more Tropical Varieties, fertilize with Fish emulsion or work tea?

Thanks :D

Well Lover, I have had lots of worms in my pots over the years. The ones sitting in the garden. The worms come up the drain holes and I have not found that it made a difference one way or the other. I only knew they were there when I up-ended the pots for some reason.

If memory serves me (and it often doesn't) 40 yrs ago they were not recommended but I forget why.

Cheers Steve

It is not dead, it is just senescence.

Yes, I already had them, earthworms, and they often come with new plants, but at the first sign of increased fertilizer ratio at the beginning of the growing season, they immediately jump out of the pot. Sparrows and blackbirds even clap their wings in delight!:D
