I planted my trachy on April the 1st,does planting the palm and the lack of nice weather slow down my palms flowering process? I'm still waiting for the flowers as it looks like it flowered before.

It's probably too early for you considering your latitude and weather.

Here they are pushing the flower spathes now but won't full be in bloom till the latter half of May.

Plus they need to be a certain size and also may not flower after being recently transplanted.  I have about 3 dozen planted out and so far only 4 flower and some don't every year.  I have ones in the ground with 6 feet of trunk, planted as small palms and they show no signs yet that they will flower this year.
