Seedlings: ID mystery and borsigs

Ok. The one at left was supposed to be ceroxylon, but the shape of the seed made me think it was t. fortunei . Then these caryota- looking ears popped out. Any ideas? Maybe C. mitis I'm guessing.

The sprouts at the left I'm excited about. You can see yellow stems and orange spots of P.  borsigianum.  Anyone care for these seedlings who can provide care tips. I separated some into individual pots early and many died off. I used a lot of bark and leca (pal Meir style) and have kept them sheltered from the sun in a warm spot...and less than half survived with none of them thriving.

I'm going to go for a wetter mix this time but anybody have any soil-tips for these guys,?

Thanks,

Ben

Actually that might be v. Splendida. I had some good pics of the borsig from other angles but I'm getting the -200 error message that I don't know how to get around.
