Is is possible to propagate Chamaerops Humilis from suckers/offsets?

Hi, I recently bought a ~7gal sized C. Humilis which comes with numerous offsets (8 or so).  I'd love to remove half of those

and use them to start new plants.  I've searched via google and this site and could only find one Youtube video of a lady

demonstrating this, but not likely successfully (offsets had no roots attached).

Has anyone had success at this, and if so how did you make it work?

Thanks.

I have tried once before but the offset was too small and, like you mentioned, had no roots.  I have heard that the best way to do this is to take an offset about the size of a 1-liter bottle in diameter for best chance of success.  At that size it should have some roots but even if not it has enough area to grow new roots.  I was about to try this again this spring but the record cold we had from February has completely changed that plan because the entire palm is and will continue to be in recovery mode for several months.

I tried it a few times without success. It's very difficult to remove the offsets and they always came out without or very few roots.
