Ray,   you might also ask under the name Chamaedorea carchensis,  an easy grower for me, even in my warmth deprived microclimate.

Very sorry, brainfog today, confusing these two species. :(

C. carchensis is C. benziei.          Chamaedorea hooperiana is a different plant.  Grows well for me also.

Darold, C. carchensis (benziei) has proven tough for me.  I've killed it twice and there won't be a third strike.
