Pritchardia with new reddish leaf

I don’t know if this is common for pritchardia but I’m not sure which one this is. I got it as pritchardia hillebrandii var. ula’ula. It has a red blush to the newly opened leaves and then fades to green. Does anyone else have this one?

Mine holds the red color on the mature seeds, which are the size of softballs.  Unfortunately, TriodeRob borrowed my camera.

Hmmm. I’ve never seen red blush on a new Pritchardia leaf. Pretty amazing.

I'm not posting pictures of mine because I'm afraid someone will jump the wall and dig it up out of my backyard  :innocent: .  I got mine as Pritchardia rouge, but you have to be careful about rain or watering from above as it tends to make the color go away.

It’s a unique phenomenon that only occurs on April 1st. You should post if for sale on eBay.
