Figured my centerpiece palms were big enough now for up lights

Can you share a close up? They look great. Very similar to the BxPJCs shared on here from California.

How cold did you get/how long? You just wrapped them, right?

They give off just the right amount of light.

20 watt LED Portfolio brand from Lowe’s yeah the next wattage up is too bright kills the mood

22 F. I kept the rain/ ice off with party tents. Kind of wrapped them. We probably stayed below freezing for a good 18 hours. Of interest they made it through 18 F a few years back with less protection and they were younger then

Tropicdoc,

passed through Houma last week. Went down LA 56 past the airport almost down to Cocodrie. Palms along the bayou looked pretty good. Queens and Washingtonias were almost all in very good shape. . Date palms were barely touched. Big difference  from up here around Baton Rouge where anything that isn't cold hardy looks terrible. Our mules came through alright though. Some have some minor to moderate yellowing and that's about it.

Yes most queens around here still look good but some have a good degree of burn. Seems to be a good bit of variability in cold hardiness. Ganiers’s nursery around the corner here has several large almost trunking mules root wrapped ready to sell. They have no damage.
