Well the atmosphere has aligned itself to basically end the drought in the east of the continent.

Had read something about this last night.. While relief from the drought is probably welcome, floods certainly isn't. Hope everyone effected is ok.

For areas near Port Macquarie, probably a 1 in 100 year event.

Around Sydney bad enough to be a major flood.

Been hearing in the news here in the States about the bad flooding in eastern Australia. Not sure which is worse the fires or the flooding. Sorry for all you guys have faced this past year and now this. 

I can’t help but wonder how @peachy is doing. Recall her area being in a very bad flood area a number of years ago. Haven’t seen her post most recently and hope she’s okay. Goes for all of you impacted by this weather now.
