A Mule at a Lowes in Austin?

Which location?

Waco Lowes has 2 mules tonight $89/ea.  Price went up from last year.  Not sure many Wacoans know about mule palms.

Curious minds want to know, Did you buy one or both. How about that overpriced palm nursery in Waco that has two locations. How it’s stock.

I did not buy either one!  I am still hoping for the survival of the one I bought and planted last summer!   I will have to slide by the central location of Blankview Nursery and see what they have.  I have not been down that way in several months.

I broke down and went to Lowes tonight.   They had a 3 gal Med Fan Palm, but it was close to a 15 gal and the 15 gal had all this black mold on it, so I passed.

I seen the med fan palms your talking about, the ones in Dothan Alabama and Pensacola had that black mold on it. I still got one though

Is that a new Arenga engleri they planted? I thought the really large clump they had didnt survive Palmageddon? The location looks different. The collection looks great.

I believe it’s part of the original clump regrowing

That wouldn't surprise me. There's been reports of these coming back from the big freeze in College Station, Texas as well. Tough plant.

The young green Sabal uresana in Collectorspalms original post has come back, didn’t get a picture. Here’s a couple more. Chamaedorea microspadix and the indestructible Sabal brazoriensis

For anyone into cactus that clump of Ferocactus glaucescens has shockingly lived on with very minor damage, sadly neglected in a patch of weeds .BDE456E4-E0BA-42BA-AF96-53669C05B656.thumb.jpeg.a4192913bc176e9ee1921079f8bc229d.jpeg
