Is it true that there really are variations in queen palm cold hardiness (i.e. 'litoralis') or are they all pretty much the same?

There's been debate as to whether or not litoralis is any hardier than standard. I believe general consensus is the Uruguay variant is a tad more cold tolerant than the other two. I'm trialing all three in my modest 8b climate so I hope to be able to provide a good comparison. I plan on starting a thread to document the experiment.
