Hi,

I have been bitten by mosquito last year, and I can see couple of mosquitos already.

So I want to prepare.

I searched Citronella grass[Cymbopogon nardus or Cymbopogon winterianus] is good plant to repel mosquitos.

Can you let me know where I can buy it near Hacienda Height?

Thank you.

Would check places like Upland or M & M Nursery on N. Tustin.. ( Upland will have a good selection of Fruit Trees as well ) Could probably find it for sale on line also.  As far as repelling Mosquitoes... I'd say it's 50/50.. Had the grass, and still had Mosquitoes.

Yes, from a trusted source.

Best way to cut down on the # of little buggers is to be sure there is no standing water anywhere in your yard.. Of course, if any of your neighbors have places where they can breed, or you live near a creek/ neighborhood with retention ponds, you'll have Mosquitoes.  You can also use a zapper or traps designed to attract them.
