I found a group of pritchardia that I may hike to off the manana trail. 21 26’21.57”N 157 55’26.69” W.  Can anyone let me know what kind they are?

Now that I zoomed in and out on Google /Earth I'm not sure that they are Pritchardia's that far from the summit.  I've hiked the Manana Trail many times but don't remember seeing a lot of palms in that area.  How did you find them?  Just skimming along using Google Earth?

Exactly, I do a lot of google earth exploring looking for palms. I haven't seen a pritchardia in habitat and was looking for areas where I could make that happen.

Whatever they are they are beautiful. I just took a few seeds from the martii at florabunda and to me looks a lot different than the tree there

Pretty; easy hike if you can find the trail head is Kaipapa`u Valley on the windward.  Pritchardias growing along the stream.

Thank you, Ill give it a look. Is the trail head the one with the road that leads to a water tank?

YUP!  Park in the neighborhood, be nice and enjoy a pretty easy hike.  Dangerous only if it's been raining hard up mauka and a flash flood could wash you away.
