Roared on out to West Hills in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles and, among other things, visited Warner Center and its palm collection, notably but not exclusively Jubaeas.

Man those Jubes area awesome! What a shame they don't really tolerate the high heat and humidity of the SE US where their cold tolerance would be welcome.

Corpus Christi, TX, near salt water, zone 9b/10a! Except when it isn't and everything gets nuked.
