New D.Lutescens spear

Rest of the older fronds, and rest of the new spears, look good.  Entire plant on a whole is very healthy.  What could be the reason for this spear?  Completely parched.

Philly, I would like to help you mate, but there are so many variables some of which we may not be aware of that do that sort of thing, I'm thinking wind/draughts, humidity, temp, pests, light, fertilizer or moisture as the usually obvious ones. Sometimes one variable will change that we have not noticed and it will do that, it does not look too bad to me. It is my experience that these minor blemishes in our plants are often unexplained by ourselves or others and as long as you look after the major things they will usually be ok.

I wish that I could be of more help.

Cheers Steve

It is not dead, it is just senescence.
