Here's an older more accurate map. It doesn't include small micro climates and Kendall county may have warmed with urbanization.

The old one is LESS accurate.  The newer one is far more accurate and detailed.  Much greater research went into the new one.  Much greater.  The new one is highly detailed down to individual streets.  A much greater data set went into the newer map.  USDA apparently spent years and poured through a lot of data to make the new one.  The old one was very general with far less data points that went into it.  By far.
