Pandanus monotheca, why do you elude me?

Hey all! I’ve been looking for pandanus monotheca for quite a long time. I’m looking for fresh seed or a couple small plants that can be sent to me here in San Diego. I know rarepalmseeds.com has them now but I just can’t justify a €45 phyto if I’m only getting a couple of packs. If anyone is going to place an order I’d love to go in on it or however you’d want to work it out. 
 

This species has been such an obsession for me. I bought some seed and even got them to germinate, but lost them when my collection was shuffled around when I moved mid-last year and they weren’t in optimal conditions when it got cold. I’ll never stop kicking myself for that one. 
 

Anyway, if anyone can help me out you’d have my everlasting gratitude!

A friend who gave me a now 15 ft. plant has one of these that is at least 75 ft. tall (and possibly more now). They are a beautiful plant.

But, I can't help with seeds. Last time I asked him, he had yet to ever have it flower and set seed. If you want, PM me and I will give you his contact info. I haven't talked to him in over a year, and maybe something has changed.

So, apparently seed is not easy to come by.

I share your frustration, this could happen to anyone.  I lost (during medical troubles) a whole flat of Geonoma weberbaurii seedlings.  Never seen it available again,

... it was just dumb chance that I happened upon ripe seed in Ecuador.
