Hi folks,

Happy New Year! Just curious if anyone has any anecdotal experiences to share regarding Dypsis sp. Bef (single trunk) and how cold tolerant it is. Any other particular considerations (soil, sun, etc.) to know about regarding this one? Looking to potentially try it in NorCal.

thanks!

I've had one from Floribunda which I've been graduating each year into larger containers. It was originally in a 4-inch pot and now is in a 3-gallon pot. I haven't tested it in the open, but under cover it doesn't seem to have any troubles in Fresno. It's not particularly fast growing though, at least hasn't been for me.
