Just a quick reminder that the meeting is this Saturday.

@Johnny Palmseed, since the Palm Beach Society Sale is cancelled, might as well join us for our meeting.  You're cordially invited. :)

The weekend after our meeting, if anyone is looking for spring palm sales, might as well attend this one in Cape Coral, FL:

Sounds like a unique and interesting event, I hope photos are taken as it should be a one-of-a-kind PRA.

I can't think of there being a Camp Out-type palm meeting before. A cool mix of hobbies, camping and palms. It is supposed to rain here on Saturday, so maybe it will move through earlier up north and not be an issue. I figure those camping would be prepared anyway. That Microcycas calocoma would make the meeting worth attending all on its own. I haven't seen one in an auction before. Is it known if it's going to have a reserve or not?

For those attending have fun!

The weather forecast is predicting 1.5 inches of rain this Saturday.  After much conversation, the meeting will be postponed until Sunday, March 7th, 2021.  The itinerary has been updated to reflect this.  Please see below:

Ugh, I hope I didn't jinx it. Could not move the Camp Out to Saturday night? Might be wet but the rain could be gone by then.

I don't think you jinxed it.  Sometimes nature makes decisions for us. ;)

I'm not sure how many folks took the camp out offer actually.  We'll see how it turns out.

Nice video on a great auction. A steal on that M. calocoma, incredible price. It looks like you had a good turnout.
