This cactus, whose life thus far appears to have been rather rough, was abandoned on my doorstep last night.
I've looked at several photos of echinocactus, refforo cactus and echinopsis, but have yet to encounter the thorn configuration on mine.

Does anyone recognize it?
Thanks

Ferocactus, possibly latispinus ( wide central spine is a giveaway )  Would put it somewhere away from any of your other cacti, looks like it has/ had mites.  Growing point may be damaged as well.
