3 brown leaves out of 7 in majesty palm

Help! My majesty palm now has 3 brown leaves (out of 7 total) over the span of a week or so. The 4th frond is now becoming mostly brown, though has yellow. I move it to partial sunlight 5' from a window about 4 to 6 hours a day. I let it sit in the shower at night time for the humidity.
