awkonradi 221 Report post Posted December 16, 2020 (edited) Mine is a Brahea edulis that grew from one of hundreds of seeds that I threw around the yard. I admit it could use a little fertilizer. Edited December 16, 2020 by awkonradi 5

sonoranfans 1,725 Report post Posted December 16, 2020 Beautiful palm mike! black teeth on petioles whispers "baileyana" to me, but that is just my guess. Baileys are one of the best palms for 9B florida. Just hit it with sulpomag in early march and it will be even happier. Baileyana will probably need potassium additions to look their best. Looks like you have nother smaller copernicia in the sahde next to it. Same soure?
mike-coral gables 490 Report post Posted December 16, 2020 Thanks , yes actually have more than a dozen of various copernicias in my yard , all do great but this one excels . Bought most of them from Sherwood Forest in Miami ( not sure if they are still around) back in 2012.
