Plenty of spanish moss here in 8b/9a! I dont know much about it, but if its hanging from a huge live oak its quite beautiful IMO

I read a thread about this somewhere a few years ago.  Someone was trying to introduce it to their property but the birds would take it all before there was any chance for it to naturalize.  In the south there's more of it than the birds can handle, but if you're just throwing a few clumps in a tree it will probably disappear within a few weeks.
