And I passed up the gold beetles that looked close enough to  the Strategus ox beetles that have attacked many of my palms this year.

I never thought about spray painting them and using these palm murderers for crafts!

Down here in SWFL, local towns put blocks of ice through wood chippers to create 4-5' mounds of "snow" so winter deprived children can go sledding. As a yankee brat myself I remember the real thing.
