Nice work and thanks for sharing!  Those of us in Florida seem to only make headlines for the wrong reasons, so it's nice to see someone can make them for good reasons :)

Wow, thanks for sharing. That's great. I like the part that you share the trees around the neighborhood. I had no idea all of that could grow in the central valley.

That's awesome Jeff! I have watched some of your YouTube videos and I like how informative they are. What type of banana are you harvesting? I have rajapuri and I've yet to harvest. The fruit starts to form but never fattens up. Maybe I need to try another variety?

I have a pup of that Jeff's Azores banana growing in Chowchilla now :) Fingers crossed for the same results as yours.

Congrats on the news feature!

@JEFF IN MODESTO maybe the local PBS station will give you a gardening show now that you're famous!

The part the writer got right -- your many years of experience trying - and succeeding - to grow exotic plants. Hard-won knowledge. Congratulations on getting a little media attention, you deserve it.  I do wish the writer had not changed your name from Jeff to Jim and back again.  Well done!
