Can anyone tell me what is the shortest "trunking" Sabal Palm that I can use in zone 8b/9a?  I have sabal minor, serenoa repens, etc but I'm looking for a quicker trunking Sabal that stays short.  Sabal Bermudana, Palmetto, Riverside, or whatever?  A Sabal that will trunk but not grow to skyscraper heights.  Thanks.

Brazoria is great, however, I learned there's great variability in length. Here's a pic I took at JFGardens of Brazoria sabal about a year ago and I was told most are the same age.

Sabal Birmingham grows really slow from what I've read. Not sure how tall though. I noticed in Dallas there aren't many very tall sabals I think climate affects how tall some will get @ winter or no winter. Cant go wrong with a nice Pindo.
