Foxtail Palm Red Bumps

Hi,

I got 2 foxtail palms in pots and I noticed that the new Fond that just opened does not have these red bumps. Are these bumps normal?

I think that you meant to say fishtail not foxtail, that is they look like Caryota to me.

Foxtail Palm when it is still small it looks like fishtail but when it get older the shape of leaf is different, Small Fishtail is different too, compared with small foxtail palm
