Gotta love fall in New England

It’s an interesting time of year.  We have days in the 60s then days like today.  It is too early for my complete winter protection but still put some Xmas lights around the trunk for good measure.  It’s amazing how bummed out the windmills look when they are bent.  My neighbors think I’m crazy, anyways, enjoy!   Big 1: Windmill Small: Needle

Got 5 inches in Northeastern CT, how do you protect those bad boys every winter?

I would wrap the trunk and cover the top to protect the growing point. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.

Snow looks really beautiful, I'm sure it causes a lot of grief to you trying to grow palms but it really does look nice. Hope your palms go well mate.

Great job growing that in Massachusetts.  Do you have it planted against a South facing wall at your house? I have not tried growing any palms outdoors yet in New England.
