Soooo, simply by the numbers you'd reckon a decent Wet period. And, ( no science here ) Three poor Wets in a row ?

This has also had a big impact in the Atlantic Ocean. We have had a record breaking hurricane season over here, looks like possibly a few more before we are completely done with hurricane season.

Deepening La Nina episode = for the Winter ahead across the Southwest, CA., Interior west:

Current thoughts regarding where La Nina could head by the end of the year.. Via the CFSv2 **  Red/Blue lines on this map can change almost daily ** Regardless, Ensemble mean ( dashed black line ) indicates a pretty strong signal for a strong - ENSO cycle this year.  You can see where things stood around this time last year, and why last winter leaned wetter, at least here.  Very different look headed forward.

Yeah, nah.....

I’m not a certified climatologist but I reckon given the La Niña you will be getting a very decent wet season this year. You may even get sick of rain.
