Matt - How long has that been in the ground?  Mine has really tall fronds (12') on it, but not ready to trunk yet.  I believe now that mine would have grown faster if it had gotten more sun.

Yeah Joe. Mine was really fast when it was in full sun but has slowed down as the canopy has filled in. It’s probably about 10 years old

Looking great!

Sadly, one I planted a few years back next to my driveway (Stupidly, WITHOUT gopher protection).. was putting out about 4-5 leaves and looking great....dead, chewed off :rant:

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.
