My first one was planted in an area that was limited in space because I thought this was a small palm. Within a few years, there were multiple stems and the base had grown to about 4' in circumference. Needless to say, it's not there anymore..

@96720 your palm looks like an arenarum; there's other, smaller species around, too.

I have a couple of Allagoptera Arenaria, one of them is about the size of yours.  It has 2 crowns and is working on an offset at the bottom.  I planted it in a space good enough for about 6-10' diameter.  My other ones are still tiny, two are just going pinnate and the others are still just single solid leaves.
